got an 05 f150 4x4. been trying to find but can't locate on the web any real info. does anyone know of any aftermarket replacement heads for the 5.4. will call ford on monday to see what they can do. just wondering if this is really even an option like whether anyone makes them. curious if there is direct bolt on replacements or if you have to take yours and have ported etc.

Dont know if it will help or not, but I was doing a search for the same thing for my 2003 4.6L 2V. Came across these:

Patriot Performance Ford 4.6L/5.4L SOHC 2V Heads - JEGS

If anyone has experience with them give a holler!

 

Ford Racing has ported and polished heads for the 5.4-3v engine. Trickflow makes a redesigned head for the 4.6/5.4-2v engines.

forgot bout trickflow and patriot. looked other day at ford racing, thought all they had was the fancy 2v heads.

guess need to call trickflow and ford and find out if it matters if i use 2v or 3v heads. in respect to the current block and intake i have and computer etc
