HELP! I have an 86 f-250 it was off the road for about six months , now I put it back on and after about 4 miles (or when it gets 1/2 way on the temp gauge ) it starts to die, if you put it in nuetral you can rev it up, if you take your foot off the gas and hold it just barely on itll run at about 30-40 if you step on it it will rev in pulses( the more you step on it the weaker the pulses) if you stop and shut it off for 10 seconds it will run fine for about thirty seconds. its a fuel-inj 302 . yes I changed the fuel filter, and the pressur is 35lbs at idle if you put it in gear and step on it it goes to 42 lbs and stays steady even when the no power/ power pulses start again , and as I said they are at a regular beatalso changed the fuel pressure regulator on the inj manifold and the eec moduel on the distributor, pulled the erg valve sensor and checked it and it seemed to be al right
