Injector Replacement Tips
So I'm going to be replacing the injectors in my dad's old 2002 F-250 work truck. I don't think it will be to hard, but have never done it before so was going to consult the "experts" for any tips. I'm planning on replacing all eight injectors, glow plugs, and the UVCH while I'm under there. Anybody have any tips/suggestions to make it a little easier? I'm going to get everything from Riffraff, so no worries there. These are the instructions I was looking at just to get an idea of the job: How To: 7.3L Powerstroke Injector Removal and Installation Any advice/suggestions would be great!

Those are good writeups, here's what I used,https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/4...rs-are-in.html Just remember to leave all the glow plugs out and crank before reinstalling them. Are you going with stock sticks?

Great, its not hard at all, the first time it took me probably 4 or 5 hours, now I can have em swapped in 1/2 that. Take your time, double check everything and torque them correctly. Glow plugs: 124 inch pounds or 14NM Valve cover bolts: 97 inch pounds or 11NM Injector hold down bolts: 120 inch pounds or 14nm rocker arm pedestal bolts to 20 ft-lbs.
