anyone know what would cause the steering to becoming jerky while driving??
i have a 08 f250 SD with 37" tires on it and sometime while driving at slower speeds the steering becomes jerky, and its almost as if you let go of the wheel the wheel actually moves from side to side by itself. its weird!! only happened twice in the last 3months but i dont want it to be a bigger problem down the road if i can solve it now. anyone have any ideas???
There are a few things it could be, but first that comes to mind is, make sure your hubs are unlocked and you are not in 4x4, and that the front axle u-joints are not seizing.
Other than that, are you sure your wheels are on tight
