Running problems after cleaning
Ok I have an 82 full size bronco.. I went muddin and got the motor nasty.. Well I went a month without cleaning it and it ran perfect! Now that I decided to hose it down while running it wants to act crazy idle is pretty good but accelerating it's spits and sputters through the carb and exaust.. I have a MSD ignition system on it a 6AL to be exact I have the MSD coil, distributer, and spark distribution box.. I took the cap off the distributer and there was excessive moisture in it.. Could that be the problem? I'm Letting it dry now

i would venture to bet if you spray some brake clean in there wipe it out and leave the cap off awile you will have your solution

Well I just sprayed a lil carb cleaner in it and letting it dry a lil more

if you have a filter on your air hose you can speed up the process if not you will take the risk of adding moisture

I actually don't have a compresser but it should be dry by now it's 95 degrees out there so ima see what she'll do I'll be back

Ok hey thanks bro for the spray cleaner tip!!! Runs like a dream again!!! Threw the cap back on and took it up the mountain and she runs perfect!!!
