2003 Excursion 4X4 PROBLEM
I have a 2003 Ex 7.3 with 135k. I t will shift electrically into 4wheel high, but it will not shift back. I did manage to get it back into 2 wheel high by disconnecting the transfer case electrical plug. I then ran a jumper wire directly to the transfer case to the battery and manually reversing the polarity to the plug. It immediately spun out of 4 wheel high and life was good. I am not the type to drop this beast off at the dealer and say fix it. been thru several checks and cant figure this one out. All help/ideas greatly appreciated!!!
