Cant find the knock sensor wire???

Cant find the knock sensor wire???
im working on my mother's 1999 Ford Expedition, just had a recently rebuilt 5.4. Comp Cams, JBA headers, Accel coils, and a very nicely freshend stock bottom end. My friend and i got the motor set in, everythings hooked up ... except we cant find where to plug the knock sensor wire into! We got out the boroscope and dug around for almost 2 hours ... can someone please give me some help on where this wire is, and where it generates from???

The sensor is under the intake, can't remember the exact area off the top of my head, the wire runs out the front D. side and plugs in around the front of the D. side head IIRC. I do remember NPI and PI knock sensors have different plugs, had to keep my NPI sensor for my PI engine when I swapped it and kept the NPI harness.
