Two problems on a 99 expedition

Two problems I have been having one really only happens when it is hot out.. Whenever I hit a bump or have any movement I get a annoying creaking sound from the front of the truck. Kinda like a rusty metal hinge in a door? Second has been happening a bit longer but just as annoying none the less. I doubt they have anything to do with each other. When I am stopped and ready to turn ( mostly on right turns ) I get bad shudder in what seems to be the passenger front tire. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Both sound like ball joints...the creaking is the tension on the socket probably from lack of grease. Check the bushings on the control arms. For the price and what you get, I would get this, you can't go wrong with this price $180...

I agree the creaking is likely the control arm bushings. If you want to confirm this, soak them with WD-40 just to see if the creaking goes away. The shuddering could be due to needing a front end alignment.

My 99 was doing the exact same thing, so I did what alloro suggested and the creak was still there. Ended up being ball joints.
