Brake lines...
...Had one bust loose while getting gravel yesterday. Our trucks are getting older, just like some of us and this is something that's often overlooked during routine maintenance.
Check those brake lines guys and gal, especially if you live in the rust belt.
It broke in the frame rail beside the fuel tank, got it home alright..just glad I live in the country. Just thankful it happened near home and not on the road somewhere.

I just had the same thing happen a couple months ago, I was amazed at how much the line was rusted/rotted out in the area behind the fuel tank. I got the 1/4" brakeline at napa & it was a good reason to do the in tank mods while the tank was down.

Right at one of those plastic clips or whatever that hold it against the rail. The whole line was rusted and brittle.
