Ya... not sure why that's so high. I most certainly DON'T get that.

I was monitoring the CPU graph on my computer one time and it did the same thing to me.
The MACHINES are sending us a message! LOL

The guage gives you an instant reading...if you're mostly idling down the highway...the guage will read 30 MPG. The guage on a Prius will read 100 MPGs under the same circumstances.

Good point. Each bar represents 5 minutes of driving. That was a hell-of-an idle.

Noticed the gear selector showing. Do you push the button every time or does yours show automatically every time? I have to push the button for it to show.

Mine comes on every time automatically since they re-flashed my TCM after some warranty tranny work. I LOVE IT!

Mine only comes on when in M mode on the gear selector, can you turn it on while in regular drive mode?

Considering the graph is labeled "last 5 minutes" and there are 5 bars... I suspect each bar is 1 minute. At one minute, on a long downhill run, 30MPG would be attainable.
