98' Navigator 165,000 Miles! Started with a rough idle and stalling! Looked for vacum leaks found several and repaired them! Problem stayed the same replaced mass air flow sensor and BPFE sensor! Now it runs rough and stalls and very very poor fuel economy! Also after driving for some distance it wants to idle at 1,300 RPMS? Where should I go from here! Help im going to go crazy soon!
Also check your DPFE, if its the original pot metal one, I'll give you dimes to dollars the inlets are corrodes. The replacement is plastic, you can get them from any auto store.
Instead of just throwing parts at it and trying stuff to see if it fixes it why not take it to a shop and have the problem properly diagnosed? You could have paid for a diagnostic with the money spent on parts that didnt fix it. No disrespect intended but if you dont know how to or have the proper diagnostic tools to diagnose a problem it is most of the time cheaper to pay a good shop to check it out.
