I instaled all 4 balljoints 10k mls ago, one wouldnt take greese, today i checked it and it wore enough to take greese! So if ya get a bad one..give her time to brake in, she'll take the grease after wrorn in. Also check harbor fraight, get u a balljoint press for 40 bucks...makes it easy
A lot of folks on here will berate you for not using OEM or polyurethane like Energy Suspension. However, I know you spent a lot less for yours than what those cost, so please keep us informed as to their longevity. Some have said that those parts store joints, even Moog, will fail after as little as 10K miles. I find that hard to believe, but I have no first hand experience. I know when I do mine I want the best value, so if that means Moog or parts store brands, and they are fine, I will go with those.
I used the duralast ball joints last summer on my 04 F250. I just can't justify spending so much money on parts that no matter how well built they are, still wear out eventually. I figure the Ford OEM Non-greaseable lasted 60K, so the duralast greaseable ones should hold up fairly well. I guess only time will tell.
