Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can find out how many 1959 Styleside F100's with the 223 CID engine were built ?

I have gotten a production report for my Ranchero from Martie (?) they have codes and all the stuff from the 60s for Mustangs and such ..I don't know what else they may have but it's worth a try ..and I am sure they will know who to talk to is the info is available...Martie report ..they have a web site..sorry I don't know how to make a link to them...

 

martiauto.com, but...Marti has nothing for any FoMoCo vehicle prior to 1967, as FoMoCo threw the records away decades ago.

If it wasn't for Marti, there would be no records available for 1967/79 FoMoCo vehicles!

In the late 1980's, FoMoCo was planning to THROW AWAY all the records that pertained to 1967/79 vehicles.

Kevin Marti, a Mustang 'nut' from Phoenix AZ found about about the plan and got ALL of it.

A free copy of the original build sheet for all 1967/79 vehicles is available from FoMoCo's Customer Service Dept, but...

It takes 4-12 weeks to receive it, because FoMoCo has to get the info from Marti.

Additional info is available from Marti (copies of the specific vehicles window sticker, Warranty Plates, rarity figues and etc), but...

There is a fee for this info which escalates depending on how much info you want. This is known within the hobby as a Marti Report.

R.L. Polk & Co. has kept all the production figures for the entire auto industry since the 19teens.

1959 F100 Production Figures:

Chassis & Windshield: 4.

Chassis & Cowl: 173.

Platform & Rack (stake bed): 301.

Custom Panel: 982.

Standard Panel: 7,963.

Cab & Chassis: 8,942.

Flareside Pickup: 26,616.

Styleside Pickup: 112,082.

This is all the info available for these trucks. No breakdown is available on how many had what engine, trans, with/without a radio or a heater etc etc etc.

 

and now you know the rest of the story...I know a little..and when I get it wrong ...someone somewhere will correct me..thank you N-D for the info now I know just a little more..
