hazard lights
i ran out of gas the other day. went to turn my hazards on while parked on the side of the road and they didnt work. there were no lights for the dash or turn signals. the individual turn signals did not work either. is this a normal thing or is their a problem?when the engines running they work just fine

sounds to me like you may need a new hazard flasher. there are two flashers under your dash one is for the turn signals and the other is for your hazards. If that is not the problem then someone may have rewired something under the dash and has them wired wrong as the hazards should flash without the key in the ignition.
