I took a little trip up to Olympia Washington to visit Don. The Fiance planned a whole trip up to Seattle, so we dropped by and had a little parts trade. I got a pretty nice set of doors from him and a custom cab dash switch bezel. He ended up getting an extra heater core housing and a just about complete 66 grille from me. Anyways just wanted to say its always cool meeting friends in person and really cool when you turn a weekend vacation into a ford parts pow wow. Thanks to FTE members out there that are cool guys and always there to help a guy out! Funny thing was I ended up taking my Escort wagon up there to get the doors. They fit back there!
That's great, sounds like a really fun weekend. The only disappointing part is that you didn't take the slick! The comradery of old Ford truck guys is awesome though, it's one of my favorite parts of owning one.
I agree with Wyatt...its always great to meet other FTE members...It was a pleasure to meet you and your fiance' Wyatt...funny thing is after Wyatt and I parted..I went south to Portland for picking with a friend for Fiat stuff for him and FoMoCo stuff for moi......and it was hotter down there then in Seattle!!!
I hit paydirt too...truck and car stuff for me and my friend got some stuff for his 76 E series...a win-win all around....and hit the Mongolian grill after...yummmmm...ate outside to boot...something you cant do too often in Wa :-)
