Well I made a big mess this afternoon, the front half of my valve cover gasket (felpro rubber) pushed out... needless to say it made a pretty good mess under the hood. I took the cover off and put on a new gasket (same felpro). I noticed the cover is warped a bit, so I'm going to go ahead and get my alumiumn ones.
My question is has anyone ever used the Ford Motorsport Black Cast Alumiumn valve covers from Jegs? Just curious on any yea's or nay's. Gasket, cork or stick w/rubber? If I go rubber I kinda want to go w/studs to help keep it lined up while installing. Any good stainless ones? Sorry for the long post, Thanks for the input!
