Any Ideas what would cause a chatter in what appears to be coming from the rear end when turning. It seems like it does it the most when turning left and doesnt matter forward or reverse.

Thanks

My first thought was a "locked" rear end chirping the tires. Have you checked the fluid in the rear-end just to make sure everything is okay back there?

Sounds like it's time for a differential fluid change. Clutch chatter used to be common from worn out or incorrect additive amount.

He might have recently changed the fluid and didn't add the friction modifier.
If thats the case, start with 2 or 3 ounces and drive it for awhile (you can add it through the ABS sensor hole on top of the diff). See if that stops the chatter. If not add another ounce and repeat drive time. You don't want too much or too little of the modifier in there. Too much additive and it won't work when you need it to, too little and your going to have the chatter you describe.
