Congrats. She is cute!!! Raise her well. For about 3 months after she was born (back in '77) my oldest daughter wouldn't go to sleep until we took her for a ride around the block in my first '56 F100. The sound of the Y-block would lull her to slumber after only a few minutes. Then the trick was carrying her in without waking her!!!
congrats from i also !!!!!!!!!!!! got 3 daughters and 2 boys myself . enjoy her now as soon they discover boys then you will have headaches , nightmares , and urge too buy a new shotgun , and to no avail !!!!!!!!!!!!! somehow mine managed to create 5 grandkids so far ................. p.s i might suggest buying more projects , and a big screen tv so maybe you could occupy your time and not create any more your self ??????????????? LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and yep she's a cutie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am very proud to announce the birth of my daughter, Evie Claire Hendrix, on June 1st 2011!!!!!
I have to say HOLY COW!!!!! I never thought having children could be this enjoyable. I have had about 10 hrs sleep over the last four days and I am ok with that!
I could go on for hours about how life has changed but nobody wants to hear me babble, they want to see the baby. So heeeerrrrrrreeeeee's Evie:
Congrats... I hope you have as much fun with your kiddo as I've had with mine. Being somewhat of a new dad myself I understand the babbling, my son (19months old now) still amazes me with the stuff he does. The funniest part is I'm more of the worry wart than my wife lol. Yesterday my son did the cutest thing ever. I work nights and he doesn't understand why I sleep while hes awake so when I go into my bedroom he runs over and bangs on the door, sometimes he even wiggles the handle enuff to open it. Well yesterday he couldn't get the door open so this is what he did...
I have a 3 and 7 year old and they both love to help so I let them help in what ever way they can. My daughter is 7 and she know the different kinds of screwdrivers and she can read the sockets and wrenchs so she can bring me the right size.
