Do you have any experience with an iPhone or are you just a hater? There's stuff I don't like about the Jobber and Apple too but to patently say iPhones are solely the product of hype and BS is a tad misleading.

 

I have a smart phone but also have a no nothing phone ...very good phone easy read good in bright sunlight

..........But enuf with the fan-boy stuff already.....

Whenever you have mob scenes at retail outlets camped out to be the first to purchase a 'hyped-up' product......Than you have a product full of hype and B.S.

I mean, c'mon. What are you paying for? I had a piece of crap Gateway computer from 1998 that managed to master daylights savings time, and look how the iphone couldn't even get THAT right.....Not to mention their earlier antenna issues.

The iphone IS a piece of crap compared to any given droid....and I'm not saying this because I just hate apple....I had an iMac for the past 5 years (until a little while ago) and was happy with it. I paid too much (like with most apple products), but it was a good machine with a great OS.

Because the Droid (smart phones) was behind in technology and touch, they needed to engineer a great unit to jump ahead the I phone...and they did. Hold two side by side and just use the function as you normally would it is smoking fast at 3g and unbelievable at 4g

I like having a smart phone, a "mini computer", and all the apps that come with it. I like when I go on road trips I dont have to lug a laptop around. In the world of apps, Iphone has the largest selection (of free and paid), followed by the Droid and then the Blackberry.

The reason I was going to go with AT&T was due to a package they offer that, combined with an employee discount I get from them through my employer, I would save about $20 a month( I dont work for AT&T, btw)

My GF has a Droid X and its like carrying a small TV around. The phone is HUGE. I had been happy with my BB's and I like the Torch for the bigger screen, touch screen, and yet it has the slide down keyboard as well. With that being said, when I see all the cool apps for the Droid compared to the short list for the BB's, I want an upgrade. Many people have said if I was going to do an upgrade to a touch screen to do it right and go get an Iphone. As I said the Iphone 4 or the BB Torch can be had for $50 through AT&T, but one of my buddys is insisting I wait for the Iphone 5.

So my question is, is there anything the Torch can do that the Iphone4 (or 5) cant? Ive never used just a touch screen before. Have any of you went from the BB to the Iphone? I have 500+ MP3's in my BB. Can I transfer them to an Iphone? I also have (and love) the Amazon mobile Kindle. Can my books be transferred to an Iphone?

Thank you for all your opinions! (btw I hate Itunes. I tried for HOURS one day to program an Ipod shuffle and I wanted to strangle whoever came up with Itunes)

 

That my friend is endlessly debatable.
