Matt's Tunes

I've been running Matt's SRL+ tune and have been loving it. Anyone running this tune get a big puff of black smoke out the exhaust when you first put you foot in it? Just curious.

Yeah, that'll happen if you don't ease into the pedal.

I run the SRL++ and can fill a 4 way intersection if I really get on it taking off.
At 50 MPH if I push the pedal half way it will start dumping smoke again.

Thats when I love to do it. For some reason there are a surplus of young blond females in large SUV's in my area. Their cell phones take precedence over courtesy or rules of the road. (dang, I just described my wife)

Every one of them rides so close to your rear bumper you can't even see their hood past the tailgate. They barely get stopped before hitting me when braking for a light and thats when I release the smoke and watch them drop their cell phones and wave their arms trying desperately to get the smoke out of their vehicles.

I hate seeing those clowns on you tube do it to pedestrians out of ignorance, but I think of it more as my trucks self defense mechanism. Much like the horny toad shoots blood out of it's eyes. It tells them to back off.

After my truck almost blowing up because of Eric's tunes I ran my truck stock for a while to make sure there wasnt any significant damage.

I talked to Matt yesterday and I will be iorderign the SRL++, the 8K tow, and the unlimited tow.. As soon as he can get them to me I will have them loaded up and ready to go.

I CANT WAIT!

Ya know, I have a Subaru (AKA rice burner). Some freaking punk and his buddy passed me on the highway and smoked me through my open window with his Dodge pickup. For the record, I did NOTHING to provoke this ^&& #@!*. If I didn't have my grand kids with me I would have chased him down and kicked the $#!+ out of them both. My blood was boiling but I had to maintain control under the circumstances.

Punks that do this sort of thing had better be ready to take the wrath of a ticked off recipient before stepping on that accelerator pedle. Not everyone will take it without severe retaliation and some folks "carry" these days. Just a little food for thought.
