Been thinking of some color options for my 78 short bed. I really want a two tone paint job, and i am gonna put on the race track moldings. Been kinda thinking of a champaigne metallic top and bottom with black in the middle, or a copper metallic or something similiar in shade and black in the middle. Any pics or suggestions?
personally i realllllyyy like the paint scheme on my truck. Im sure it would look way better if it was new paint too:P

its gonna depend on what color ur interior is.but me i would do the new mustang burgandy w a frost silver in the middle that would look awesome w grey interior w all the metal in ur cab that burgandy ,or a newer blue n pearl white w a frost blue pearl over the whole trk
I'm kinda partial to the Ivy Glow/Wimbledon white combo two tone, and have been since the day dad brought it home back in 74. I thought it was the purtiest truck I'd ever seen, and that opinion hasn't changed.
When it's all cleaned up and polished, it's beautiful.
Thanks guys, kinda narrowed it down to blue and silver. I like the black sapphire pearl color found on the newer lexus cars. Its a dark midlight blue. Now to put the blue on the top and bottom, and the silver in the middle, or the other way around? Either way, i know it will look sweet. Just finalizing the body work, and hope to get into paint by mid summer. Will post pics when painted. Thanks again for everyone's input.
