I have a 92 f150 4x4 and the wipers have never work sence i got the truck as a project and now that i got it on the road i need to fix them asap... i checked all the fuses and bought a new motor nothing happend... i can hear a clicking noise from the passager side under the dash when i hit the washer button in or turn the wiper on full blast???
Any ideasss? thanks.
i have no idea some people told me the little moduel box behind the glove department is bad to get one from the junk yard and try that? im complete lost.
if it has delay wipers, there will be a rotation to the wiper switch, then it clicks for low and high.
if it does not have delay, it is a 3 position switch, off, low high.
i don't know where the delay module is on a 92. i know on the 87-91 it is on the dash rite behind the switch. but ford changed everything around for the 92's, so it may well be behind the glove box like you say.
If you don't to spend the $$$ on a E9TZ-17C476-A "wiper governor assy" ($120+ IIRC) and don't care about delay, you could just find an old three position switch and connect it into the harness directly.
It is a plug & play swap.
