HELP BRONCO 2
so here is my problem got a 90 Bronco 2 2.9 with 5 speed well it overheated and cracked the head so drained the oil and there was a lot of anti freeze in the oil well so to say I wanted to replace with a newer 2.9 so met up with some guy to look at this motor he had well it was suppose to be a 2.9 well it wasnt it was a 3.0 well looked at most of the plugs for engine most appear to need to expand wires but plugs appear to match so what if i do use the 2.9 harness can I use the 2.9 computer or switch to the 3.0 done alot of SB Chevy motors but not like this please help kinda lost in the process. need to know is should i use the 2.9 wire harness or just pull one out of the year of the motor to match please shine some light on this for me

sorry man but you need to sell the 3.0. to many changes necessary to make it work and that motor sucks. you would have an easier time swaping in a 4.0 which is a drop in for that year bronco II.
