holy crap that made me laugh! you have 18inch lift with 44 inch tires and you cant figure out why your truck is slow???????????????? really i get the your young and you think its cool but trust the 25 year old ive been there and it gets ols real fast, especially when you have to pay for everything. But if your lucky enough to have rich parents who dont care and just keep forking over hundred dollar bills than go ahead bro do you

but to answer your question a DP chip from what ive read and talked about is the best for a 7.3 diesel, second there is no need for you to have a 5 inch exhaust, this isnt a 1000 HPtruck here. and if you want smoke there are companies that make smoke switches for the 7.3, just google 7.3 smoke switch and youll get your smoke

Welcome to FTE. First off, what kind of air intake are you running? What brand chip do you currently have? Do you have a set of gauges in your truck? Done any modifications to the transmission like a shift kit?

I'm not sure what a PPE is, but I'll assume you're not talking about personal protective equipment and you are talking about some type of chip or tuner. The 7.3 is not a new engine by any means. We know what works in these motors so I'd stick with that. You can do better than TS tunes. DP is a great option, but there are others as well. What part of the country do you live in? Perhaps one of the good tuners lives in your neck of the woods and you can go with the local guy. Just be sure to tell them you want a smoke tune. You'll get an increase in power with a custom chip, and they'll be able to give you a tune that will smoke at the flip of a switch.

My vote is for DP Tuner also. Clay can also sell them to you, he's is the guy who invited you to the RRE in Morgan Hill, June 18. How do you get into that truck. Do you have the fold down step? God Bless, Chet
