very true pete! although i know one guy who ran away from CT, then couldnt come back soon enough. all he had to say was "the grass is not always greener on the other side". he had moved to Tennessee where they tax groceries. he had a big family and they ate a lot.
when wife leaves for quantico we need to start a betting pool, and see where i will be moving.
Ahh, totally forgot about that! Didn't even think about the GVW bein over 10K, my bad!
My dually went to emissions once when I first bought it in 1997, and the emissions people (state run at that time) told me to never come back. It is registered at 13,000 GVW with commercial plates.
Afternoon gents.
I have comm plates and there is no emissions.
My cat and EGR are on vacation.
You will need to come to a GTG once you get into the state.
Definately, ya'll. How often do you guys hold get to togethers?

Good to know. I figured they would have to do a VIN verification.

Grew up in Northern Jefferson County, not far from there. I just re-enlisted last month, and currently over 10 years. Looks like I may close out my career up there, and then its back out west for me.

I register at 13,000 GVW, I'm hoping it won't be an issue. Chatting with ya'll is putting my mind a little at ease, I'd rather not return the exhaust to stock.
