Thanks for the info and suggestions that helped to make my decision on what truck to buy. I placed a down payment on the 2006 F-350 crew cab srw. I just couldn't make any deals with any of the 7.3's I was looking at. Most of the dealers wouldn't move on the asking price nor would they give anything on a trade. I even threw out the "Its a cash deal". They just wouldn't bite. I took the advice and got a carfax and oasis report along with an option to have the vehicle taken to a ford dealership for a complete inspection before final deal and approval. Which they had no issue as long as it was on my dime. I figured I can eat 50.00 bucks rather than a 15,000.00 mistake. Guess I'll be hanging out on the 6.0 forum from now on but thanks for the help.
