ABS Problem
I have a 99 250 7.3 4x4. For a while now the abs light stayed on. My usual source for electronic repairs couldn't scan it, but they worked fine so we let it go. The other day they started acting funny. They were real close to needing replacing so we did. Well as luck would have it i had to jump on them a couple of days after that to avoid a car stopped in the middle of my lane. It barely stopped, but the light finally went out. Since then sometimes when you go to stop you barely have brakes at all. I have since had it scanned and the codes were C-1145, C-1148. Any ideas on what these mean and what can be done to correct the problem. Thanks in advance.
