I was talking to some guys here yesterday about the 6637 and typical turbo noises. I decided to pull my 6637 and intake tubes and look at the turbo. Better safe than sorry. Before I even got to the turbo found a problem. Just goes to show, if you have any doubt that something MIGHT be wrong, take a look. Better to find out now than later the hard way.
What are your suggestions for fixing this? Get a new tube or is there an aftermarket tube I can get? I was thinking a nice SS tube would look nice, if there is such a thing.

You really need to closely check your wheel... I bet its in pretty rough shape. I hope there isn't too much dammage.... but if thats been open like that for a while, I bet you have a dammaged turbo...or worse.

Compressor wheel looks good. I'll try to get a pic with good light.
I'm glad I found it when I did. I'm hoping I can find somewhere to order a new intake boot or something so I wont have to drive to get it.. Oh well It gives me time to do some other things.
