No it will not. Our trucks are not ODB II compatible. If you want all the options to work from that app then the vehicle must be ODB II. Otherwise with our trucks now, you will basically get what you see on your instrument cluster.

I have been looking around for something similar too but no luck yet.

I have a 2003 full obd2 and it works perfect for me. You can still use some of the features

Maybe in a 2003..... guess this would depend on the year.

Yes...some features are available with the non ODB II trucks but not many. At least none of the good ones in my opinion.

Or you can do a search for it in your "Market" widget on your android phone.

Although I would like to see an AE app for the android.

I have the app and the bluetooth dongle. One day I will have time to see if it actually works... For $30 investment, I figured I'd give it a try!

My '00 and '01 trucks are OBDII??? Dunno about the earlier models...

My understanding is that all vehicles after 1996 are OBD II compliant. I just know that there are things specific to our trucks that normal code readers won't see. I didn't know if torque would see that stuff or not.

In general they are ODB II.... But at least with my E99 and some others, we are only partially ODB II compliant. Guess they only did what they had to get past the regulations.

If AE works on our trucks, then so should this APP. That being said, it looks like you have to create most of the gauges for it. Haven't decided to try it yet since I'm running a scan gauge.

Thats the problem I'm having - I have AE, Scanguage II and Aeroforce Interceptor Scangauges... The app/dongle was kinda on a whim while Scangauge II AND Aeroforce gauges were out for repair!

It took forever to get the stupid Dongle - I gave the ebay seller negative feedback because they said '4 day shipping - ships from USA'. It was weeks and came straight from Taiwan or something.

If somebody want to play with it, I'll send it to ya and if you love it - buy one for yourself! If ya don't, it'll be cheaper to send it back to me than the $25 it costs!!! (and no waiting for that boat to get here from the orient)
