d66 dominator?

d66 dominator?

I got my stage 1's and intercooler in and now im having a problem with smoke, thinking a good turbo would clean it up, i dont want to have to send my chip back to tw for a reburn. any body run a similar set up?

When is your smoke present? Wide open throttle or off idle?

Both. It clears to a haze at wot but right off idle especially towing its thick and black

As far as I know the D66 does spool faster so it should help your smoke off idle.

One thing you can do now if not already this way. But move your MAP sensor hose from the stock location at the intake runner to the hot side IC tube. Might not make a great deal of difference but should help some

hey man the d66 is a good set up... my self and glenn aka oldbird.... are running the d66... i have sd injecters wich are bout the same as stage one.... me tuck was doing the same as yours.... put the d66 and had my chip reburend and all is good..... not sure how soon you wanna do this but buy the end of the summer i may sell this d66.... it wont even have been a year old.. only reason iam selling is cause i have a moded h2e i wanna put on

Definatly keep me in mindfor the turbo
didnt want to send my chip back ive called tw alot the last few months and hvent had any luck thank. Pm me about the turbo

will do man... cant you sind your chip back for free burns??? just out shiping??? not sure how tw works but beans is free burns for as long as you have the chip just out postage

Smoke issues.

Air Filter (my current issue)
EPS Tube.
Hpop.

I'd look into an Hpop before I'd tackled a d66.

Email Joey and get you a t-500.

how do you run sd injectors? just use a sd idm?

No just pop them in. IDM's don't matter. To run them well you need proper tuning to accommodate the split shot injection. I a running them too. If you have to buy the SD injectors don't bother and just buy stage 1's. Much better IMO.

does anyone know if tonys tunes reads the eb if so the eb sensor should be functional. if not then delete it unless u still want to be able to use the ebpv then leave it on but clean it out

EBPV strategy is not determined by tuning. The PCM goes by IAT and EOT.

I'm sure you could modify it in the tuning, but the truck doesn't care if its there or not.

From my understanding, you should leave it on and just keep it clean, unless your going for big power, then you just plug the tube and leave the sensor plugged in. It can cause de-fueling.
