gas tanks
88 F350 rear tank removed in place of a bronco 33g. Sending unit wiring on bronco has 2 14g wires and different colors then F350 19g tank, all 18g wires. Have to splice sendin unit connector. Do i reconnect according to pin locations or colors ? Only 2 colors are the same for both connectors

both tanks are 88-91's. the notches on the sides of the connectors are a little different, and the f350 wont fit the bronco sender
I was hoping you were online bill

A 1990 up tank has a High Pressure Pump in it. Are you doing away with the frame pump and Selector valve you have now?

If so go by the wire colors in the diagrams below.
1990 Bronco & F-series:

no, everythings stayin the way it is cause of the front tank.
Is it easier to remove frame pump an switch front pump to high pressure ?

The 90+ High Pressure pump will not fit in an 88 tank.

I'm gonna order 88 bronco sender an pump with 3 1/2 opening to fit the 90 bronco tank

You would then have to get all the fuel lines (from a salvage yard?) from a 1990 or newer to do that.
