new pump and sending unit
The old high pressure intank pump finally gave up on my baby. Since the sender was bad as well I decided to buy a new low pressure intank pump and sender for her and do away with the bypass pressure regulator I have been running. Well the pump does great but the gauge still don't work! I checked the sender and it works fine (should it is new). I also checked the gauge by grounding the wire and it jumps straight to full so it should also be good. Now for the big question. What are the ohms for the diesel sender in a 86 F250? The gasser sender is 15 empty and 164 full.

This info is from the 93 manual but it's all I have.....
Here are the fuel guage test #s
22 ohms sent to the guage it reads empty "E"
145 ohm sent to the guage it reads full "F"
Here are the sender test #s
Sender at empty stop 14-18 ohms
Sender at full stop 154-162 ohms
