A previous thread of mine was related to the reverse lights not working, and TDPOWER said it may be the Digital Transmission Range sensor (DTR). Sure enough, I put a new one on and they work perfectly! Yea! (Gave TDPOWER some REPS for that!!!)
However, I was wondering what torque specification might be on the DTR / MLPS bolts. I read a post somewhere that said for the E40D transmissions you should do 100 inch pounds, so that's what I set mine at. It seemed not-so-tight, but then again, I guess it's just holding it in place and not taking any sort of load.
Yes, it is. The illustration doesn't have the harness plugged into it or shift cable attached. That is an indexing tool on the top of it to set its position. Here's another.
