Just had miss-hap with the electrical system that has fried a lot of the components. As it stand I'm looking for a 92 Mustang ECU as I had bought the MAS conversion kit a long time ago and it seems that the electrical problem has screwed mine.
So in all your wisdom, I'm looking for links to get my hand on one such ECU!
I think helierich recently replaced an ECM from an aftermarket supplier and was really pleased with both product and service. Might check with him for details.
I think it wasn't as much a replacement as a rebuild, i think his ECM got rebuilt with better parts. But before spending the money in that ECM i think you should address whichever electrical issue you have, as you will fry your new/rebuilt ECM if you don't.
I chased a stall, no start issue for years then the E4OD transmission went into shifty schizo. Sent my PCM to Houston and they did a great job. It seems components fail with age and heat, especially the capacitors in the South. Try ECMTOGO on the Gulf freeway. Johnny said the numbers must match if you go to JY and the probability is high that part may have failing components. They were only $20 more than I could find on line used. Never did find matching numbers in used so the repair was perfect.
If yours is not repairable they have thousands in stock.
