I'm very excited to get the engine back...I had Doug, the owner of Joe Smith Early Ford,(Contact Us - Joe Smith Early V8 and Hot Rod) in Richmond VA. build the engine for me as the original block was cracked at the exhaust valves into the cylinder walls. He is a really nice, laid back guy who lives the old ford machinery. He has a truly professional operation and was up front and in contact through the entire rebuild process...he even provided the video! I have attached another for your viewing pleasure.

I meant to say that I'm kind of surprised he used the original exposed plug wire terminals on his test stand where lots of hands and instruments are being used. He's a brave man. They can be quite exhilarating .

I remember the free beers part! Unfortunatley my buddy didn't remember. It took a few frosty beverages to convince him that I wasn't pulling his leg.
