Pollak switching valve install

It looks like I will replace my bad Ford valve with the Pollak. Question-- do the nylon lines slide on and then the retainer clip slides in or is this a hose and clamp setup? I have not purchased the valve yet.

Yes the lines slide on and then the retainer clip slides in.

But Pollak does not make a selector valve for your truck unless it is a Diesel or you have a 460 with a Carb.

I have a 460 with a carb. The pictures I see on the net show what seems to be a hose and clamp fitting, is there a unit specific to the nylon lines with the push on fittings and clips ? Thanks
