Since I have the Bulletproof, at what temp should I get concerned? Also, I was reading a post elsewhere and they were saying the thermostat should be kicking in and not letting the coolant temp be getting over 200. Is that right?
Thanks

The thermostat is not designed to be fully open until 215 or so.

The scangauge have at least that I know two configuration settings for the EOT gauge. To verify that your EOT readings are accurate wait overnight for the engine to cooldown. At that point ECT and EOT should be at the same temp. If your EOT is for example 50 degrees hotter than your ECT. Your EOT settings on the Scangauge are not right. It happend to me when I had my 06.

You have to be sure that those high EOT that you are seeing are really that hot.

I was a Ford guy. I have owned about 7 different ford truck between Broncos, F-150's and F250's. But that 06 Superduty was a PITA. And the drop that fill my cup was my "stealership" witch I have to almost tell step by step how to deal with my engine because of their lack of knowledge.

Did you actually replace the factory cooler with a kit like this: http://www.bulletproofdiesel.com/Pho...tCode=90402001 Or did you just replace the factory oil cooler with a factory oil cooler from bulletproof and maybe a bulletproof EGR cooler?

If you have a full bulletproof oil cooler setup like the one in the link I posted, depending on what you purchased, it may or may not have a thermostat on it. This kit shows the full cold weather package added. Regardless, I wouldn't think it should get that hot or have that much temperature difference between the two.
