NAV question

In the NAV menu, one of the options is "show speed limits" which I turned on but have yet to see where it shows me the speed limit on any of the screens. My Garmin does this and it is a handy feature. Does anyone know if and where this is?

I have been reading the owner's manual but I am only up to about page one so far...

It doesn't show them for all roads or highways.

Best bet is on the major interstates. It will show a small speed limit sign on the left end of the bar that shows the name/number of the highway you are on.

It only works on Interstate highways for me. 2 lane U.S. highways are hit and miss.

I'm puzzled as to why ford didn't build Garmin functionality/interface into the nav? Garmin is the standard nav in the work sulutions platform...speaking of which, what functionality is lost by going with the WS? anything? (sorry for the hijack P.I.T.S.)

License fees for using WS vs Garmin?

I'd like the ability to import .gpx files into the NAV system - I'd like to be able to show low clearance data when towing my 13'4" fiver, for instance. They've got a way to import destinations from an Android phone to the Sync system, but if you have the full-blown NAV system, it says I don't have a valid Sync account (or I haven't figured out the secret code yet.)

I am on a trip now. Like was said above, only certain major roads are showing the speed limit. It appears on the far left of the "road you are on" banner at the bottom of the screen. While you are at it, check the default speed limits. They are set pretty low and really do a number on your estimated arrival time. I bumped mine up to 35/55/65 and the estimated arrival times are within a few minutes of the Garmin I am testing it against.

The only way I have seen them is while navigating to a destination, cannot just be on the map view. I also noticed they are wrong on a lot of major roads in CO.
