Will trailer back up lights work?

2007 F350 PSD. is the center pin on the plug hooked up for back up lights or do I have to wire it in?

Picking up a new enclosed in a couple weeks and had them install reverse lights.....thanks

The center pin should already be wired. There is a fuse and a relay. You can test the pin with a test light to be sure it is all working.

If it's factory, it's hooked up. If it's an add-on, it may not be but that is an easy fix. Being a 2007, it's most likely a factory plug.

You will have to get a 7 way plug on your new trailer , those plug adapters ( the ones to be able to go from 7-4 or 7-5 pin are not wired in the center ) Ford throws in if you get the trailer package won't work . All of my trailers have backup lights , so the first time I hooked up my curent F-350 I was racking my brain trying to figure out why I had no backup lights with anyone of the ones with a 4 or 5 pin wiring setup . olllllo

I've actually never gotten a trailer without one. The 4-5 usually come on small trailers?

Plus the trailer is being built with backup lights. If the company building it doesnt know it needs a 7pin I'm in for a ride. Haha
