Just got my 2" leveling kit from jbg, the instructions that come with the alignment bushings suck. Basically they want you to have it aligned before you install, so you know what to set them to, well since I'm doing my entire front end right now (axle pivot, ball joints, warn premium hubs) id like to install them neutral, or close then align it once at the end. If thers anyone out there who's installed these -- I think the "n" mark on the bushings which have the letters a through z on it is "neutral"according to the instructions
can I install it on N and have the shop, adjust as necessary?
Also would a ford dealership deliver the best alignment?

THe directions are correct. You install the bushings at the proper setting, you cant just adjust them in the truck. Call the alignment shop to verify this if you'd like, but I did alignments for about 20 years. I dont like the adjustable bushings. If you try to remove them to replace a ball joint or do a camber adjustment you will most likely destroy them. I always used the fixed bushings, they cost a lot less and are reusable.
Soooo how should I go about my project? Replace the axle picot bushings, replace the front springs, do all 4 ball joints, wheel bearings and hubs. then take it in to the shop and have them take the upper ball joint apart and install the bushing at whatever its required at?
I cant really go to an alignment shop first because everything will change when i get all fresh stuff up there....
Correct, you need to replace all those parts, then hook it up to an alignment machine. Then if caster/ camber needs to be adjusted, they will take the old camber bushings out, see what they are, and calculate which bushings to put in or how to position the adjustable ones. After the bushings are installed they will hook back up to the alignment machine and confirm good caster/ camber #'s and set the toe in.
