middle seat belt

I have a 1978 f150 custom and I just replaced my stock bench seat with a new one from craigslist ( 1995) the fit is great but i cannot get the middle seat belt to fit thru the drivers side hole ( the long strap one) I took the plastic cover to the strap and took the slider piece out and pulled the strap alone thru the hole but like a moron i didn't look how the strap came apart before i took it apart. Can someone PLEASE snap a picture of how it goes back together. I can't get the little black cover piece back on and don't want to put to much pressure on it if i am doing it wrong.

I'll snap a pic when I go home for lunch in a few for you. I put a seat from a newer truck in mine and I didn't have any issue. Did you not unscrew the belts from the floor and feed that end through the seat and then bolt them back to the floor?

EDIT: Sorry I couldn't get the pic, the freakin' batteries were dead in the camera.

No i just threaded them up from the floor and when i took the lap belt apart i THOUGHT i had a good mental picture and could put the thing back together ( the black plastic piece ) I think that i have it right but i don't want to force it and break it
