Cleaning Power Steering pump. What method?

So I am starting to clean up everything in the engine compartment. Starting with the power steering pump. I got most of the stuff off with a wire brush, screw driver, paper towel and degreaser. There are a lot of small channels that I can not quite get to. What have you all done to get the PS clean?

a toothbrush would work. Jut dip it in degreaser first.

I used some degreaser stuff called Purple Power and a toothbrush.

Ahh, that is a great idea. I have some cleaning brushes but the bristles are too soft. I will try that out and update with my findings.
