Sorry guys about my never ending alternator questions. What's the amperage of our alternators? The lady at my local Ford dealership didn't sound real confident on the phone. And, has anyone had any trouble with the Bosch and other alternators that Napa sells.
Anyone running a 200 amp? I might get a winch in the future. I think I'm just going to go with the rebuilt Napa one with the lifetime warranty. Bosch sounds nice, the just only offer a 1 year warranty. Don't know if I should get the 130 amp or 200 amp.

Unless you plan on using major power (i.e. - welder) don't bother doing all that work. The 130 will suffice for most applications.
I am not sure what the Napa one is, but make sure you get a new one, not a reman. Speaking more generally toward the lifetime warranty. The lifetime warranty doesn't mean much when you have to replace the thing every year. They hook you into coming back for the same unit. Over and over. Don't make that your deciding factor.
I'd still get the Bosch. I've had great success over the years using Bosch with the German cars I've owned.
it was a napa remaned it was mostly my fault i had an idi diesel and i accidently overtightened the belt ate the bearings like a fat man eating twinkies
