I've just noticed my truck pulling to the left very slightly while going down the road. I jacked up the front end and the drivers side tire spins a little harder than the passengers which free spins. Pulled off the caliper and the hub spins free. Thought maybe the slide pins so I pulled them out and the were free of rust and still good antiseize. Must be that the caliper pistons are starting to get gummed up. Anyone know of a way to free up the pistons or just buy a replacement caliper?
Before you ditch your caliper - check the brake hose on that side. if it looks iffy replace it & bleed the system. Drive it and see if the problem persists. I dumped a perfectly good pr of calipers only to find the hose was collapsing on the pass side of our 03

How could I tell if the hose was collaped inside? Will it have a spongie spot in it?
