bed problem
Hi guys,
I've got another problem,seems to be a never-ending story.
I've got a 56 f100.but the bed with it off from 76.so it's wider and longer.any idea to make it fit or buy a factory one.I was thinking to order or make a bedsides ,but not sure.and to make a roll on the bedside,that's maybe weld on a tube,haven't got better idea.love the tear drops but can't make it.I know would be easy to buy it,but money wise.if anyone has an idea,cheers,Tushy

well, they can be made, if you have the tools, or access (reasonably priced) to someone that can do some of it for you.. bending the bedside will take a good LONG brake.
welding the bedroll on, and grinding it off right is a lot of work too.. but doable.. many have.
the extensions you can purchase too.. so only have to do the side and stake pocket bodies.. still a ton of work.
so, material, time, tools and skill..
I need a new bedside on the 56, to get the fender holes to line up with the other side,
and I'll just buy one.. $250 is SO much less than worrying about straightness, etc..
but time for me is hard to come by.

yes I was thinking a same,just a bit easier for you guys overthere ,I need to ship them here,and everybody wants a fortune.and I'm becasue of alien here,so that's doesn't make it cheaper.but thanks ,by the way,what is your truck colour,love it.cheers ,Tushy
