Stalls in reverse
My '91 F-250 5.8L 351W 2wheel drive supercab has an issue with stalling when put in reverse. The problem is intermitant, usually happens when motor has run for a few miles. RPM's drop off slowly, stalls, then I can put it in park and start it right back up put it back in reverse and continue on my way. If anyone has a sugestion I'd be thankful.

I've read that if the filter in the tranny pan has fallen, that this can happen. Has there been any tune-up performed? What tranny do you have? When was the last time the tranny was serviced/flushed? What color/smell is the fluid?
