Transmission Grind
I rebuilt my carb, adjusted timing and fixed vacuum leak and ignition switch on my 81 f-150 (302 with Auto) and now it grinds when i try to put in back into park. It shifts into other gears but the engine speed doesnt seem to change ( like its not dropping into gear). Does the idle speed/timing have anything to do with transmission working? What should i do to troubleshoot this problem? Thanks
I almost forgot that i also put in a new starter? I read something about the starter catching on something?
