I put my 6637 aircleaner in last night and wow! I got the truck and it had a MBRP 4" turbo back and still had the stock airbox. Now with the 6637 off the line it is so much smoother and the turbo spools so much quicker! I have put about 10 cold air intakes on other (gas) vehicles and never had such an amazing result! My egt's seem to be down about 50* also. Can't wait to see what a programer is gona do! Thanks everyone for the 6637 idea!
I just installed a 6637 and noticed more boost on the gauge at lower RPMs. I still have stock exhaust but am glad to get better off-the-line and mid-range throttle response.
Now I can get 10+ boost just pulling away from a stop without even trying. If I get on it real hard and hold it I can get about 18-19. Running at 60mph my egt's are only in the mid 400's.about 50* cooler than stock air box. Stock computer no tunes! Why wouldn't ford allow this from the factory, more air really wakes up the motor!
Oh all RIGHT! Sheesh! I just clicked over to Napa ProLink and the white truck with the hat on top will be delivering me a 6637 in a few minutes. I've read about this, and read about this, and read about this. And always say, gee that sounds like a good idea. So here it goes. I'll install it this afternoon.

Ok, if it weren't for my pesky customers, I would have posted this sooner. The filter is installed, took me 15 minutes tops. It would have taken me a half hour if I weren't at work, cuz I would have stopped for a beer or three.

Filter cost me $45.01
I guess you get a discount at NAPA. I don't know if you know about this, but this is a good deal on the kit. Maybe next time.
Glad I found this thread as I've been wondering till now.. the fact that my intake temp as rocketed since fitting the 6637 so my concern was although I'm getting more air its a lot warmer hence no real increase in power?
I already had Bully dog stainless exhaust fitted so maybe why I didn't feel a difference with the 6637, just cool noise
I have gone through 2 tanks of fuel now and I am now getting between 18.7 and 19.3 mpg! Gained 2+ mpg all I did was remove stock airbox and install the 6637!!

That's about exactly where I'm at. Pretty amazing.
You haven't seen anything yet......... Put the DP tuner on, your truck will come alive! I get all my goodys from Riffraff, AWESOME people to work with! I just put my DP on a coulple of weeks ago and it's just like a new truck. I got the no start, stock, 80hp eco.,80hp tow,60hp tow, 120 race, 140 extreme, 55 MPH tune if someone borrows my ride.
Unless everyone wants to donate to the, Dad needs a DP tuner fund! Then it's going to be a long time till I can afford one. I think I would be happy with stock and 60t for now to keep price down. I do mostly normal daily driving and occasional short trips with a 2000lb trailer and a 4800lb jeep, all on country roads.
