I'm interested on who else has it. i heard spartan just came out with it and H&S has. but other then that i would like to know.
Let me explain further,
It's not a matter of who has "it" (unless you are looking to buy a boxed tune)- years ago the feds mandated the oem's open up their proprietary software (tuning) programs...there are several companies that the "tuners" purchase their software from, so they can access the oem program, then they modify it in a "box" so to speak, so yoy can plug it in & re-program your vehicle.
Dyno shops who tune EFI vehicles have the same software, they are just looking at your vehicle and tuning it, versus a "canned/custom box bought tune". I am not saying their is anything wrong about the boxed tunes...but, IMHO, a local dyno who is professionally trained can like get better results for the same $.
I know there are several guys that have the H&S tuners running on the 6.7L right now, and have been for a while. They've been getting updates ongoing and most recently on the transmission control module.
I'm sitting on the fence right now because their are only two I have heard about until seeing SCT. The fear is voiding a 100K mile warranty on an engine that may cost $20,000 to replace if it grenades.
Anyone buy and try yet?
Anyone heard more from SCT?
