Finished Trans Flush
just finished flushing tranny (6 spd)and transfer case. over the weekend i did the rears...which wasnt bad except for having the "hand squeeze" the 7 qt bottles with a hose into the rears. my forearms were killing me all day sunday. ended up going to harbor freight and buying a 5 gal pail pump and a 1 gal gear lube pump...total cost 13.98. saved so much mess and time doing the trans.
also got some kooler kleen from napa for the cooler...really bad junk in there.
if anyone is planning to do this, i used mobil 1 synthetic for all 75-90 front(3) 75-140 rear(4) and ATF for trans and transfer(8). also i took some advise to make sure the fill plug comes out before draining the fluid.
also advanced auto parts is running an online only deal. use code BIG35 and save 35 bucks off of 85 bucks. you cant use it for motor oil, but for diff and atf it works. used it twice and paid online and picked up the parts...cannot use it in store. im going to post this up cuz it can be used on anything ecept motor oil
